Business Analyst

This is a hybrid role in downtown Toronto, with 2-3 days a week in the office.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements
* Lead and facilitate requirements workshops, process mapping sessions, and stakeholder interviews
* Analyze current-state business processes and system workflows to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement
* Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams
* Support data, integration, and enterprise application projects by clarifying requirements and validating solution design against business needs
* Collaborate with architects, developers, delivery leads, and QA teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives
* Maintain clear requirements documentation, traceability, and change logs throughout the project lifecycle
* Facilitate stakeholder reviews, solution walkthroughs, and sign-off on requirements and designs
* Support UAT planning, test case review, and defect triage to validate that delivered solutions meet business needs
* Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

* 5+ years of experience translating business needs into functional and technical requirements
* Experience with data, integration, and enterprise application projects
* Strong process mapping, requirements documentation, and stakeholder management skills
* Proven ability to facilitate workshops and communicate effectively across business and technical audiences
* Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
* Comfortable working directly with cross-functional teams including architecture, delivery, and engineering
* Exposure to testing activities such as UAT, test case review, and defect validation is an asset
