Position: IT Support Agent
Number of hours: 15 hours/week
Schedule: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, EST
Tasks required:
* Provide remote IT support to users via phone, email, or helpdesk tools
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues (Windows/macOS)
Set up and maintain email accounts, calendars, and file-sharing systems (e.g., Outlook, MS Teams, GoDaddy)
* Assist with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) software and resolve user concerns

* Implement and uphold data security standards in alignment with Canadian PHIPA-equivalent guidelines
* Ensure proper handling and safeguarding of sensitive client and patient information
* Perform other ad hoc administrative or technical tasks as assigned
Requirements:
* Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role (2+ years preferred)
* Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and productivity tools (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)
* Experience with remote desktop tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP)
* Familiarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
* Experience in EMR software and understanding of health data privacy regulations
* Understanding of or experience with Canadian healthcare privacy guidelines and PHIPA compliance
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills (via email and phone)
* Familiarity with GoDaddy, MS Teams, MS Outlook, and MS Excel
* Certifications like CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft are a strong advantage
* Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks in a remote setting
