ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Communications Cloud Developer to design, build, and deploy end-to-end digital transformation solutions for telecommunications clients. In this role, you will leverage core Salesforce Communications Cloud (formerly Vlocity) tools to streamline product catalog management, configure complex sales journeys, and optimize order capture and fulfillment workflows.

You will act as a key technical hands-on contributor, bridging client business processes with scalable Salesforce technical solutions while driving high-performance implementations in the telecommunications sector.
WHAT YOU'll DO
* Design, build, and customize enterprise telecommunications solutions using Salesforce Communications Cloud (Vlocity).
* Configure and maintain complex product structures, pricing models, and catalog rules within the Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC).
* Build dynamic, guided user experiences and quoting workflows using Communications Cloud CPQ, OmniStudio (OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors), and LWC.
* Develop, configure, and troubleshoot fulfillment processes and decomposition rules within Salesforce Order Management (OM).
* Integrate Salesforce Communications Cloud with third-party telecommunications systems (OSS/BSS, billing, activation, inventory) using APIs and middleware.
* Collaborate closely with business analysts, solution architects, and testing teams to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
* Conduct code reviews, enforce technical best practices, and perform system testing, bug fixes, and performance optimization.
* Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-deployment hypercare support for telecom client engagements.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Have
* 4+ years of dedicated, hands-on development experience with Salesforce Communications Cloud (Vlocity Communications).
* Proven, hands-on delivery experience on telecommunications industry projects (B2B or B2C telecom environments).
* Deep technical and functional proficiency in Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC), Communications Cloud CPQ, and Salesforce Order Management (OM).
* Strong expertise in OmniStudio technologies (OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors) and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
* Practical experience integrating Salesforce with external telecom OSS/BSS platforms via REST/SOAP APIs.
Technical Depth
* Solid understanding of core Salesforce platform capabilities (Apex, Trigger Frameworks, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, Security & Sharing models).
* Practical knowledge of telecom domain concepts (e.g., eTOM framework, order decomposition, product-service-resource (PSR) modeling, subscription lifecycles).
* Strong command of modern software delivery practices, Agile methodologies, version control (Git), and CI/CD deployment tools (e.g., Copado, Azure DevOps, SFDX).
Preferred Certifications
* Salesforce Certified Communications Cloud Accredited Professional
* Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer
* Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I / II
* Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist (a plus, not required)
NICE TO HAVE
* Prior System Integrator (SI) or consulting experience delivering large-scale digital transformations for global Telecom Service Providers (TSPs).
* Familiarity with TM Forum standards (Open APIs) and enterprise integration patterns in telecom.
* Exposure to Salesforce Industries Order Management (IOM) advanced orchestrations.
