Remote Recruitment is hiring a Accounts Receivable Clerk for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa, owning invoicing and getting customers paid on time.
Role overview
You will keep cash flowing in. You will raise invoices, record payments, chase overdue balances politely and keep the debtors ledger accurate for a UK business.
Key responsibilities
* Raise and send customer invoices and credit notes

* Allocate customer payments and reconcile the ledger
* Chase overdue accounts by email and phone
* Prepare debtor ageing reports
* Resolve invoice queries with customers and colleagues
What you'll need
* Experience in accounts receivable, debtors or credit control
* Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
* Strong Excel skills and numeracy
* Clear, professional written English
* Attention to detail and reliability
Nice to have
* Experience with UK VAT invoicing
* Familiarity with Stripe or GoCardless
* Experience with month-end close
