We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Short-Form Video Editor to join our team and support a U.S.-based lifestyle and entertainment brand.

In this role, you will transform existing long-form videos, podcasts, and recorded content into engaging, high-quality short-form videos for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
The ideal candidate has experience in video editing, understands social media trends, and can independently produce polished, ready-to-publish content.
This position will initially be part-time, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role after 30 days, depending on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Edit long-form videos and podcast recordings into engaging short-form clips.
* Create high-quality content optimized for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
* Identify interesting and relevant moments from existing footage.
* Add captions, transitions, and basic visual enhancements to improve video quality.
* Ensure consistent branding, video formatting, and overall content quality.
* Organize and maintain edited videos and content files.
* Make revisions based on client feedback.
* Deliver completed videos according to agreed timelines and content schedules.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in short-form video editing for social media.
* Experience repurposing long-form videos, podcasts, or interviews into short-form content.
* Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar video editing software.
* Good understanding of Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts formats.
* Ability to identify engaging moments and create well-paced videos.
* Strong attention to detail and creativity.
* Good written and verbal English communication skills.
* Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Reliable internet connection and a suitable work-from-home setup.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience editing podcast or interview content.
* Familiarity with lifestyle, fashion, music, entertainment, or community-related content.
* Experience using AI-assisted video editing tools.
* Basic understanding of social media content scheduling and organization.
