Key Responsibilities
Lead global monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation activities Own and resolve complex intercompany accounting and reconciliation issues across international entities Review consolidated financial results and investigate significant variances and accounting issues Provide guidance to regional finance teams on reporting, consolidation, accounting treatments, and close requirements Support executive, Board, shareholder, lender, and management reporting Oversee audit support, tax compliance, transfer pricing, and related global accounting activities Lead implementation of new AI-driven financial reporting tools and other automation initiatives Develop and improve global accounting policies, controls, and reporting processes Manage and develop a Senior Accountant while providing leadership to global finance teams
The immediate priorities include resolving existing intercompany reconciliation issues, strengthening consolidation and financial reporting, and helping lead the implementation of new AI reporting technology.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 6+ years of progressive accounting, audit, consolidation, or financial reporting experience Strong international consolidation and intercompany accounting experience Experience working within a global or multinational organization Advanced Excel skills required; Power BI experience strongly preferred Strong interest in AI, automation, and modernizing financial reporting processes CPA or equivalent professional designation preferred Big 4 or large CPA firm experience preferred, but not required with strong global accounting experience Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across countries and time zones
