David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a fast-growing AI technology company serving millions of users worldwide that is seeking to onboard a Content Moderator to join their expanding Trust & Safety team. The role involves daily review of sexually explicit content and adult themes, so candidates must be fully comfortable working with this material.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Review and approve or reject user-generated content, including images, videos and text, in line with platform policies
* Identify inappropriate, prohibited or potentially harmful material
* Apply moderation guidelines consistently, including when handling ambiguous or borderline content
* Document moderation decisions accurately and escalate complex cases
* Investigate content flagged by automated detection systems
* Review internal AI-generated content, AI characters, datasets and workflows for safety and compliance
* Categorise and tag content to maintain appropriate platform visibility
* Maintain high accuracy, consistency and productivity across substantial moderation volumes
* Collaborate with senior moderators and the Legal & Safety team to improve workflows and enforcement standards
REQUIREMENTS:
* Previous hands-on experience moderating user-generated content for an online platform
* Strong understanding of content moderation guidelines, policy enforcement and escalation procedures
* Experience working with high-volume moderation queues
* Excellent English comprehension, including slang, context, nuance and intent
* Proven ability to make sound, independent decisions on complex or borderline content
* Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and consistency
* Clear documentation and communication skills
* Complete comfort with daily exposure to explicit adult content
* Availability to support required international moderation coverage
